    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Maintenance Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining an inventory of spare parts to enable our maintenance technicians to perform routine maintenance and repairs in a timely manner.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Maintain parts inventory by ensuring quantities are sufficient and proper parts are available.

    + Read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, schematics, service manuals to determine spare parts requirements.

    + Research and select suppliers/vendors based on quality, cost and delivery.

    + Manage parts inventory including database reconciliation, ordering, expediting, stocking parts and parts follow up with vendors and maintenance team.

    + Monitor the usage rates of parts and adjust inventory as needed.

    + Support efficient layout of inventory storage locations.

    + Responsible for tracking spending via purchase orders and credit card orders.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    + HS Diploma or GED required

    + Experience identifying, recognizing, specifying, and ordering industrial machinery parts, both mechanical and electrical.

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and prioritize and plan work activities, using time efficiently.

    + Knowledge and experience using a computerized maintenance management system and Windows Office programs.

     

    The target hourly range is $21.00 - $23.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. Expanded pay ranges may be available for growth and advancement opportunities. In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
