    Utilizes structural design expertise to consult on and engineer large steel and fabric structures for manufacturing and construction.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Utilizes knowledge of various engineering principles/analysis and mathematics to perform structural calculations for steel and concrete elements, foundations, and cable configurations for tensile structures.

    + Engineers detailed drawings and bills or materials as required for prototype and production build requirements.

    + Creates and maintains project schedules to ensure projects meet established timelines.

    + Support planning and builds of shade structures.

    + Travel to support installations or to investigate field issues.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    + Bachelor’s degree in civil/ Structural Engineering, with an emphasis on Structural Engineering Design.

    + AutoCAD (2D and 3D) knowledge.

    + 3D modeling/analysis application knowledge (Inventor or Solidworks).

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
