Weyerhaeuser is an industry leading manufacturer of structural wood products. The**ProductEngineeringteamlocated in Federal Way, WA plays a critical role in theevaluation, design, quality control, raw materials selection, code compliance, and supporting theapplications for our products. The team includes engineers, scientists, technicians, and support staff located at two nearby facilities in Federal Way, WA(Wood Products Laboratory & Product Engineering Office)
This position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a self-starter to take responsibility for administrative support for the Product Engineering team and both sites. The candidate must have a positive, problem-solving approach and be able to coordinate a variety of diverse activities in a professional environment with shifting priorities. This onsite role requires applicants who enjoy providing site support for a wide variety of accountabilities as well as taking on occasional assignments with increasing complexity and responsibility.
*Typical core work responsibilities include:*
* Provide direct site and administrative support for the Product Engineering team.
* Serve as the primary point of contact and take responsibility for internal and external vendor coordination for a variety of site administrative functions that include:
• general maintenance contractors,
•janitorial services,
• security systems,
• mobile equipment and crane services,
• shipping/receiving,
• site disposal,
• mail services,
• information technology support,
• and other site support needs as they surface.
* Purchase general site materials and supplies as required (office supplies, computer equipment, personal protective equipment, subscriptions, etc.).
* Work with offsite financial resources to produce periodic financial reports as well as to code and approve invoices using SAP.
* Set up travel arrangements and provide expense reporting.
* Orchestrate occasions group events and meetings with visiting attendees; including coordination, meeting materials, catering, etc.
* Take ownership for the laboratory archiving and database system to ensure that all information is up to date and easy to locate.
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 5 years of administrative, accounting, or site operations experience..
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Office, Excel, Word, and web-based programs.
SAP experience preferred but not required.
Able to manage schedules and prioritize tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
Proven track record of building positive working relationships.
Willingness and ability to take on additional responsibilities over time.
This position will be part of the Product Engineering group, is a full-time, non-exempt position. This role is 100% on-site. Located in Federal Way, WA.

*Compensation*: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $49,379-$73,998based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

*Retirement*: Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5% of your base salary.
*Paid Time Off or Vacation*: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours and paid parental leave for all full-time employees.
