Responsibilities:

+ Provide direct and indirect instructional support to students in a positive environment

+ Develop lesson plans and supplemental materials compatible to the designated curriculum; establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects and communicate those objectives to students

+ Prepares, administers and grades tests and assignments that are a reflection of what students will be evaluated on during NYS Regents, Advanced Regents and Advanced Placements testing.

+ Develop and maintain positive, strong classroom culture

+ Use consistent school-wide practices and individualized methods to engage students in the classroom

+ Maintains a safe and orderly environment

+ Strong classroom management abilities

+ Perform related work as required

Candidates must possess:

+ NYS Certification in Mathematics Grades 7-12
