In this role, you will:

+ Lead all phases of the program life cycle, as well as grow and position the program for emerging opportunities.

+ Lead a program organization that effectively addresses customer requirements and incorporate the necessary internal and external stakeholders.

+ Cultivate customer relationships and intimacy to achieve excellence in execution and develop further opportunities within the customer community.

+ Manage all program activities and lead program review sessions with internal and external customers to deliver cost, schedule, and technical performance.

+ Establish and manage the program and subordinate baselines.

+ Identification, distribution, tracking, and completion of program requirements.

+ Develop and adhere to budget baselines for cost & schedule control

+ Identifying, allocating and managing program resources, including workforce planning

+ Participate in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, schedule milestones, and key terms and conditions.

+ Support the larger organization in identifying, developing, and realizing organic and adjacent growth opportunities.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

+ One of the following:

+ Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience as a program manager, deputy PM, or IPT/functional team successfully leading a software development program(s) using Agile development methodologies

+ Master’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience as a program manager, deputy PM, or IPT/functional team successfully leading a software development program(s) using Agile development methodologies

+ Proven leadership and interpersonal communications skills with the ability to interface with all levels of employees, including engineering and management

+ Experience establishing relationships and managing customer expectations

+ Experience assigning and monitoring team and individual tasking to meet contractual requirements on schedule and within budget

+ Experience leading in a government (preferably DoD) contracting environment

+ Business acumen

+ Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance

+ Ability to travel 25% of the time

+ Ability to work on-site in Orlando, Florida

Additional desired experience and skills:

+ Understanding of the satellite communications domain, particularly Wideband Military Satellite Communications (MILSATCOM)

+ General understanding of technical concepts of systems engineering, IT infrastructure, networking, software development, cybersecurity, networking, virtualization, and configuration management

+ Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher

+ Master’s degree in Business or a Software/Engineering discipline

+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $95,604.60to $191,209.20; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
