    NOW HIRING: Millerbernd Manufacturing is hiring a Scheduling Manager to join our Transportation & Infrastructure team in Winsted, MN! The Scheduling Manager is an onsite role responsible for the master production schedule of all Business Units and leads the team of planners to provide detailed department schedules finding the balance between operations’ capacity and customer delivery expectations.

     

    Job Title: Scheduling Manager

    Salary Range: $88,000 – $110,000 per year (Exempt role)

    (In compliance with Minnesota Pay Transparency Law, this range reflects the anticipated compensation for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and other factors.)

     

    Shift Schedule: 1st shift Monday – Friday Business Hours

     

    Shift Differential: 1st shift – N/A

    As a Scheduling Manager, you will:

    + Develop master production schedule for each business unit aligned with rough cut capacities from operations

    + Interface with customer team to ensure alignment between schedule and customer requirements

    + Work closely with supply chain to ensure the system demand is aligned to customer requirements

    + Provides direction and leadership to the planners to create detailed departmental production schedules

    + Drive alignment between production department schedules

    + Coordinate ECN (Engineering Change Notices) into the schedule

    + Provide lead time awareness to the customer teams; work with the customer teams to reduce lead times to drive our competitiveness in the market

    + Define problem resolutions and process improvements

    + Incorporate planning decisions to reduce material and product variability

    + Orchestrate transition on make vs buy adjustments

    + Act as the Power User of the ERP system; is seen as the expert and drives system focused process improvements

    + Enable job order process integrity and completeness

    Role Qualifications as a Scheduling Manager:

    + BA or BS degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain or other Business program

    + Minimum of Five (5) years of related experience

    + Other combinations of formal training and experience will be considered

    + Understanding and working knowledge of a manufacturing environment

    + Understanding and working knowledge of business goals & achieving financial targets

    + Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Software: Word, Excel, and Outlook.

    + Proficient in MRP and ERP systems

    + Excellent interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution

    + Self-directed to perform work with minimal supervisory oversight

    + Excellent written, verbal and collaboration skills in English

    + Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills

    + Creates and promotes teamwork across departments
