Some of what you'll be doing:
As an Aviation Lease Management Business Systems Analyst, you will serve as the departmental liaison and subject matter expert for technical acquisitions, procurement, and solutions planning. You will work to improve department efficiency through data analysis, ad-hoc reporting, system process improvement and business capability assessment.
+ You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and gather detailed requirements for system enhancements or new systems.
+ You will evaluate existing and proposed technology solutions and workflows and identify obstacles and risks.
+ You will manage quality assurance by creating test cases, documenting and communicating results to ensure seamless deployment of functionality or implementation.
+ You will test system patches, fixes and system updates delivered by Port Information and Communication Technology (ICT) from software vendors.
+ You will serve as the primary administrator for the lease management system, space management system, and SharePoint sites.
+ You will provide frontline systems support and training to users to ensure effective utilization and understanding of tools, applications, workflows and processes.
+ You will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of project objectives and requirements.
+ You will work with technical teams to design solutions that meet the business requirements and are feasible within the existing system architecture.
+ You will create dynamic and visual reporting and prepare presentations, gain consensus from stakeholders, and implement timely and well thought out solutions.
+ You will maintain all systems and relevant workflow documentation and tutorials for all users across a range of departments/roles, ensuring standardization and consistency
Who you are:
+ **Experienced** – You have three (3) years of system administration and/or data analysis and three (3) years of experience in analyzing business processes and/or process improvement.
+ **Desired** – We hope you have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Administration. We also hope you have a Business Analysis or Data Analytics certification.

+ **Interpersonal** – You have excellent teamwork and people skills that establish rapport, persuade cross-functional business partners at all organizational levels, and assist in better understanding of technical information.
+ **Excellent Communicator** – You possess proven communication skills (verbal, written, and active listening) for effective facilitation of meetings or presentations.
+ **Highly Organized** – You have strong organizational and business planning skills to work independently, prioritize workload and adapt to business priority changes.
What else you need to know:
+ **Work Schedule** – Your normal work schedule will be Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week). Slightly more flexible start and end times are available in this role.
+ **Work Environment** - This work will take place in a hybrid/in-office setting at Management’s discretion.
+ **Washington State Residency Requirement** – Employees must establish a residence in Washington state within 30 days of their first day of employment and must maintain a residence in Washington State during their employment with the Port of Seattle. If a position is eligible to telework, work performed while teleworking must be performed in Washington State.
+ **Security Requirements** – As the successful candidate, you must pass a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background check as well as a criminal history background check with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Your employment will be contingent upon obtaining a Port of Seattle ID badge upon clearance.
