    Newell Brands is searching for a Copywriter to join our dynamic Home Fragrance copywriting team, charged with developing retail-first content for Yankee Candle, Woodwick, and Chesapeake Bay Candles.

     

    This is an exciting opportunity for a strong writer who is looking to launch or grow their career in copywriting. You’ll collaborate closely with creative and marketing teams, get hands-on experience writing across a range of marketing touchpoints, and contribute to brand storytelling that connects with millions of consumers.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Conceptualize, write, and edit retail content—including product copy, direct mailers, window displays, retailer partnerships, in-store displays, digital displays, and more

    + Help bring brand voice and personality to life across different platforms

    + Partner with designers to ensure copy and visuals work seamlessly together

    + Work closely with designers to align copy with visuals

    + Follow brand, internal, and retailer-specific style guidelines

    + Participate in team brainstorms and contribute fresh, creative ideas

    What We’re Looking For:

    + 0–2 years of relevant experience in copywriting.

    + Strong writing, proofreading, and storytelling skills

    + Interest in brand building, retail, and consumer products

    + Passion for Beauty and Home industry

    + A flexible writing style and the ability to shift tone across brands

    + A proactive, collaborative attitude and openness to feedback

    + Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

    + Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Creative Writing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
