    Director, Trust Asset

    Job Description Summary

    The Trust Asset Director will oversee and support Trust Asset Managers in managing portfolios that include primarily ranches in addition to farms, and land for owners or clients. This role involves ensuring compliance with OCC and Federal Regulatory standards and practices, fulfilling obligations under governing management agreements, and directly managing a portfolio of assets. Additionally, the Trust Asset Director will play a pivotal role in negotiating easement agreements and surface use agreements.

    Job Description

    Oversees team in monitoring annual OCC and Federal regulatory compliance requirements as applicable to the assigned ranch real estate portfolio in addition to managing a portfolio of ranch assets.

     

    Maintain oversight of the monthly and annual compliance and regulatory deadlines for asset reviews, inspections, and triennial valuations.

     

    Cultivate strong working relationships with clients and team members to develop a complete understanding of the client's needs to promote, enhance, and expand existing client relationships.

     

    Utilize fiduciary knowledge, experience, and resources to recognize problems and provide solutions, guiding sensitive and difficult client situations to a mutually satisfactory resolution.

     

    Form effective working relationships and networks with client, vendors, contractors, third-party property managers, appraisers, brokers, and other service providers to ensure timely and superior completion of all projects and deliverables.

     

    Assign accounts to Asset Managers to ensure relationships are managed according to fiduciary policies and procedures.

     

    Review and approve expenditures per established authority level.

     

    Review, approve, and execute leases, listing agreements, purchase sales agreements, easement agreements, etc., within established authority level.

     

    Prioritize and manage multiple complex projects in various stages with aggressive deadlines and timelines.

     

    Perform other related duties as required or requested.

    Qualifications Required:

    Proven track record in leading a team in managing complex portfolios and strategic planning.

     

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Real Estate, or a related field.

     

    Minimum of 7 years of experience in asset management with a focus on ranch and farm properties.

     

    Proven experience in negotiating easement agreements and surface use agreements.

     

    Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Strong relationship-building with stakeholders (vendors, contractors, property managers, appraisers, brokers, clients).

     

    Ability to develop and implement real estate strategies. Strong problem-solving and strategic recommendation skills.

     

    Willingness to travel for property inspections, client meetings, and internal meetings.
