Summary:
+ Under supervision from the Director and/or Clinical Manager of Outpatient Admissions provide a full range of admission services (telephonicscreening and triage, obtain insurance information, case assignment and scheduling) to facilitate patient access to clinical services in thePrinceton House system.
Responsibilities:
+ ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ 1. Perform telephonic clinical screening and triage services for patients seeking treatment
+ 2. Seek clinical supervision from appropriate clinical personnel for all cases triaged as Urgent.
+ 3. Document all demographic, clinical and insurance information in accordance with Princeton House policies and procedures.
+ 4. Assign patients to face-to-face evaluation appointments according to patients’ individualized clinical needs.
+ 5. Communicate need for benefits to be verified with Verification Specialists for treatment and assist with communication to patient when needed.
+ 6. According to the specific requirements of the particular site, may orient patients to the program and may assist patients with registration
+ paperwork.
+ 7. Document and maintain relevant intake, referral and admissions data within the Princeton House SQL database.
+ 8. Support customer service and performance improvement goals of the department
+ collaborate with other caregivers / staff, within and outside
+ the department, to develop means of enhancing patient care and service.
+ 9. Maintain standards of confidentiality.
+ 10. Possess the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to meet patients’ physical, psychological and social needs of those patient populations
+ served within the department.
+ 11. Participate in unit compliance as related to established standards.
+ OTHER JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ 1. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
+ 2. Facilitate positive working team relationships and communication across the Princeton House continuum, Princeton Healthcare System and for all external customers.
+ 3. Act as a liaison between Administrative staff, UM and Verification department to insure proper and timely insurance verifications, accurate and up to date benefit and clinical information.
Credentials:
Education or Equivalent Experience:
+ Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)
+ Education Specialization:Social SciencesEquivalent Experience:•0-1 years Some previous experience with behavioral health patients is a plus, but will train•2+ years Two years experience in crisis and/or clinical setting

Salary Range:
$19.01 - $30.29/Hourly
