    Description

    **SAIC** is seeking a **Senior Systems Engineer** at the **Navy Yard** in **Washington, DC** .

    **Job Duties** :

    + Provide tailored systems engineering and acquisition support for the acquisition and life-cycle management of submarine and undersea systems to include all phases of project and systems management from initial capabilities documentation to system delivery and follow-on life cycle support.

    + Provide technical analysis and program/project management support for acquisition strategy development, trade study technical assessments, network architecture, configuration and document control, obsolescence management, logistics, schedule/milestone establishment and tracking, financial management, and cost estimation and control.

    + Coordinate and participate in program and technical status meetings/reviews, developing inputs, documenting proceedings, and tracking action items.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience OR Master's degree and three (3) years of experience.

    + Must have experience providing technical and program management support for the acquisition or life-cycle support of a submarine Program Office.

    + Must have a SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI CI poly.

     

    Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
