    General Purpose

     

    Manage company reporting obligations across six states related to reliability, service quality, major events, customer outages, T&D operations network performance, fire incidents, ignition risk events, and other key metrics. Deliver key performance reporting metrics to pertinent business units, including corporate scorecards and executive level reporting to BHE. Develop and manage processes, workload allocations, controls, timelines and inter-departmental coordination to ensure consistent and accurate reporting across disciplines. Develop and manage the company’s strategy regarding reliability reporting, outage classification, and performance improvement

    Responsibilities

    + Manage weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reliability reporting requirements across Oregon, Washington, California, Utah, Wyoming, and Idaho. Evaluate and implement reporting changes based on stakeholder feedback and compliance rules/changes.

    + Manage other federal or industry reporting requirements, such as NERC, IEEE, or EIA, in the subject matter areas of reliability, customer interuptions, and service quality.

    + Interface with stakeholders and regulators to review metrics and trends and solicit feedback.

    + Develop processes, controls, workload allocations, timelines, and workflows for ensuring timely and accurate reporting across subject areas and disciplines.

    + Provide data and analysis in support of new and existing legislation or policies related to reliability, service quality, ignition risk events, fire incident tracking and reporting, or other outage related reporting and tracking obligations.

    + Manage internal company reporting and forecasting, such as corporate scorecards or other related initiatives in subject matter areas of reliability, service quality, major events, fire incident tracking, and ignition risk tracking.

    + Support company-wide reliability reporting and Social, and Governance reporting.

    + Work closely with senior management and other departments in support of organizational objectives.

    + Represent the company when interfacing with commercial counterparties, state regulatory commissions, and other state regulatory stakeholder groups.

    + Prepare testimony to support regulatory proceedings as required.

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Legal, Finance, Economics, or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + A minimum of seven years of experience in regulatory compliance and data analysis, or a related area.

    + Knowledge of outage reporting, reliability metrics, and service quality reporting requirements in both voluntary and regulatory environments.

    + Data analysis and report compilation experience including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

    + Proven skills in issue-spotting, problem solving, and analysis.

    + Familiarity with applicable federal, state, local laws, and regulations.

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills to assertively negotiate transactions and settlements.

    + Strong customer service focus.

    Preferences

    + Advanced degree.

    + Esperience leading cross-funtional teams to negotiate with and influence peers and management on policy and strategic issues.

    + Knowledge of the company’s policies, procedures, and practices.

    + Skills and proficiency in reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Foundry.

    + Experience working with databases and basic to intermediate understanding of SQL for querying and validating data.

    + Demonstrated ability to improve processes and implement reporting automation.Proven ability to manage multiple reporting timelines and strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
