Belay Technologies is seeking a Mid -or- Senior Level Full Stack Developer to join our intel team. The Full Stack Developer shall have experience with back-end Java 8+ (Java-focused) and DevOps skills. The Full Stack Developer will support will focus on software engineering and a program specific tool suite, which delivers critical intelligence around the world at mission speed. The team will work with cutting edge technology to manage high-volume and time-sensitive data throughput in response to Intelligence Community and world-wide partner needs. Support includes both sustainment of the existing tools and development of new features and functionality based on high-priority mission needs. The Full Stack Developer’s responsibilities will include: developing distributed software; updating software code and fixing bugs; deploying applications; installing and configuring complex software; managing network servers and technology tools; monitoring and maintaining the system for required levels of performance; writing scripts to automate general system operations or DevOps activities; and troubleshooting and resolving issues and outages.

Telework is not expected for this role. Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly one week out of every 6 weeks). Staff may charge 4 additional hours for the week they are on call in addition to hours worked.

Mid-Level Full Stack Developer:

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

+ TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

+ Fourteen (14) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Candidates are required to have the following skills:

+ Experienced with Back-end Java 8

+ + Experienced with DevOps

Candidates are desired to have the following skills:

+ Experienced with Spring Boot / Spring Cloud

+ Experienced with MySQL

+ Experienced with Kibana/Logstash

+ Experienced with MongoDB

+ Experienced with Docker / Docker Compose / Docker Swarm

+ Experienced with RESTful web services

+ Experienced with Angular/TypeScript/GWT

+ Experienced with Syndeo

+ Experienced with Drools

Senior Full Stack Developer:

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

+ TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

+ Twenty (20) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

+ Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Candidates are required to have the following skills:

Salary Range: $70,000 to $190,000 (Mid-level)

$190,000 to $240,000 (Senior-level)
