Position Highlights

Spencer Hospital is a rural** **hospital located** **in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.

Hours needed for position are** **Monday-Friday from 7:30a-4p** **. May be scheduled an 8 or 4 hour shift. There are no guarantee of hours or benefits.

Responsibilities:

+ Opening and closing procedures

+ Point of sale system to include cash handling and employee charging

+ Balance/close out money drawer after each shift

+ Make and serve drinks and food to order

+ Perform sanitation processes in work area and customer area

+ Engage in caring and professional communication

Requirements:

+ Food industry and barista experience preferred

+ Comfortable with point of sale systems including credit card and cash handling

+ Customer service driven

+ Must have availability to work 4-8 hour shifts during the day

Please note this position is hourly and does not receive tips.

Schedule:

+ As needed based on full-time Head Barista schedule

+ 7:30a-4p, shift length will vary based on needs

+ Mon-Fri, not open on weekends/holidays

+ Schedule may fluctuate based on the needs on the department
