Job Description:

Leidos is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Test Engineer** to join our team in Columbia, Maryland. The position is part of a team that provides software development support for an organization that is tasked with dissemination of data to various customers within the Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

+ Designing, developing, and implementing test plans, test cases, and test processes

+ Performing User Interface testing against requirements

+ Identifying data to be used during testing

+ Developing automation tests using Visual Studio (VS Code) and Cypress

+ Developing automation tests using Eclipse and Java

+ Working in GIT to push/pull automation test scripts

+ Experience in testing for accessibility

+ Defining test strategies for future capabilities

+ Managing project artifacts

+ Determining appropriate project methodologies and practices

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics,

+ Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional TE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree

+ Eight (8) years’ experience as a TE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

+ **Clearance Required: Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.**

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)

+ Experience with manual testing and with using automated tools (e.g. Cypress, Visual Studio, Eclipse, Java)

+ Experience with regression and integration testing (in multiple environments)

+ GIT

+ Linux

+ Putty

Pay Range:

Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
