    The Opportunity:

    CACI is seeking a software development professional to join our team supporting a Department of Defense (DoD) client. If you are looking for your next career challenge with a highly skilled development team, CACI would like to speak with you. In this role, you will be an integral part of the team specializing interfacing with customers to gather and understand their requirements and producing functioning, maintainable web applications that meet WCAG and Section 508 accessibility Standards.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and maintain front-end solutions that integrate seamlessly with SharePoint Online and other Microsoft 365 services.

    • Build and maintain Power Apps to automate business processes and improve productivity.

    • Create and customize SharePoint sites, lists, and libraries to meet business needs.

    • Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and implement visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces

    • Produce high-quality code with proper documentation, testing, and adherence to best practices.

    • Develop and maintain technical documentation for applications and processes. Document accessibility features and any known issues to ensure transparency and facilitate future improvements.

    • Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and best practices.

    • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

    • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

    • Implement and maintain proper version control using tools like Git.

    • Assist in estimating project timelines and managing development tasks.

    • Ensure all developed applications and interfaces comply with Section 508 standards and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Support regular accessibility audits to identify and address compliance issues. Implement necessary changes to maintain compliance and continuously improve accessibility features.

    • Implement accessible design patterns and use ARIA attributes where necessary to enhance the accessibility of web applications.

    • Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's knowledge sharing initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    Active DoD Secret Clearance

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or work equivalent)

    • 4-6 years of experience in a software/application development role

    • Experience in developing User Interfaces to applications using html, JavaScript and CSS

    • Experience with SharePoint Online and Power Platform along with Azure DevOps (Git)

    • Knowledge of WCAG v2.0

    • DoD Manual 8140.03 level Intermediate from the Foundational Qualification Options for the Software Developer work role including applicable certification(s) (e.g. CSSLP) or be able to obtain within 6 months of starting position

    • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment

    • Ability to be cross-functional, performing tasks with other members of the team as needed

    _Desired:_

    • Relevant certifications in SharePoint, Power Apps, or web development technologies could be considered as supplementary qualifications Experience working within the DoD

    • DHS Trusted Tester Certification

    • Knowledge of DoD guidelines, organizational policies, and industry best practices

    • Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g. SCRUM)

    • Strong oral and written communications skills, capable of effectively collaborating with developers, testers, and DBAs and communicating with government customers

    **Pay Range** : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.     The proposed salary range for this position is:

    $86,600 - $181,800
