    Our SSD Qualification team is dedicated to ensuring the dependability and performance of brand new solid-state drive products. We work collaboratively across global engineering teams to uphold the highest standards in product quality and compliance.

    Position Overview

    As an SSD Qualification Engineer, you will lead the evaluation and qualification of SSD products through comprehensive testing and analysis. This role involves developing qualification plans, debugging failures, and driving process improvements in close collaboration with multi-functional engineering teams.

    Responsibilities

    + Collaborate with global multi-functional teams to define and refine product requirements.

    + Support senior engineers in technical debugging and data analysis.

    + Implement qualification tests and analyze results to ensure they meet specifications.

    + Develop and improve test and debug tools to enhance the qualification process.

    + Perform system-level and drive-level debugging using software tools, oscilloscopes, and bus analyzers.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.

    + 4+ years of experience in embedded systems within academic or professional settings.

    + Proficiency in Python, C, or similar languages for test automation and debugging.

    + Hands-on experience with electrical debugging tools such as oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers.

    + Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Strong understanding of computer architecture and SSD storage technologies.

    + Experience developing and executing qualification plans for high-performance hardware.

    + Knowledge of industry standards including ISO regulations and GMP compliance.

    + Background in system-level validation, test automation, and statistical data analysis.

    + Proven track record of driving process improvements in manufacturing or QA environments.

    The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

    $95,000.00 - $161,500.00

     

    Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
