Collins Aerospace is seeking to hire an **Associate Director, Landing Gear Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP)** at our Haltom City, TX location. This position is responsible for the management of Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) across the Landing Gear sites. The individual will be responsible for SIOP standards and deployment of related processes and tools. The role requires the ability to work cross functionally across multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure demand/supply stability, as well as developing and executing critical strategic long-term operational goals. One of the primary responsibilities of this role is to identify, mitigate and if needed escalate, long term capacity gaps to ensure successful execution of customer demands.
This role will manage a centralized LG SIOP team consisting of Master Schedulers, Supply/Long Range Planners, Inventory Analysts, Materials Planners, Engineering change coordinators and Business Analysts within CMS value stream structure.
This position is working onsite at our Haltom City, TX facility. Relocation assistance available.
What You Will Do
+ Set and execution of long-term strategic plans to enhance SIOP process maturity
+ Develop, document, communicate, train, and deploy a standard LG SIOP process with supporting policies and procedures based on Collins best practices to align and reconcile demand and supply with Collins financial goals and objectives.
+ Establish, measure, and monitor leading key performance indicators and any necessary success measures associated to LG operational performance.
+ Manage a rolling 36-month SIOP process with a focus on long term planning and foster cross functional collaboration between Demand Planning, Supply (Operations, Procurement), Sales / Program Management and Finance to create material/product flow strategies.
+ Execute continuous management of the master demand schedule to provide long range market demand visibility in support of financial planning, internal and external capacity management, and the overall SI&OP process.
+ Spearhead the implementation of the capacity management process, including identification of capacity gaps and necessary gap-closure recommendation to ensure successful execution of customer demands in support of SIOP
+ Facilitate cross functional activities to resolve demand and supply imbalances before the operations are impacted and presents potential solutions during the executive SIOP meeting for approval.
+ Evaluate, coach, guide, and identify learning opportunities for staff members.
+ Manage material master data to ensure BOM and routing accuracy to allow correct parts are ordered at the right time to complete our customer orders.
+ Establish Parts A/B/C X/Y/Z Classification Rating and accordingly maintain PFEP (Plan for Each Part) strategy.
+ Establish and monitor, Standard Work in Process (SWIP), and required buffers levels to ensure on-time-delivery of our customer requirements.
+ Establish strategic inventory roadmap and execute to maintain inventory levels aligned with our business and financial objectives.
+ Identify project risks and execute risk mitigation actions as needed
+ Enhance business analytics capabilities to allow informed decision making.
+ Make timely and sound business decisions that support the business objectives of Collins.
+ Summarize and present key information to senior leadership enabling them to make fact-based decisions.
+ Create a high energy, positive culture organization by using the core values of trust and respect.
+ Provide leadership to a cross functional global team.
+ Ensure the team members are engaged, trained and contribute to the success of the site.
+ Travel internationally 20 - 25% of the time
Qualifications You Must Have
+ Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
+ Experience working with SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) including Finance and Business Case preparation
+ Experience in a high paced manufacturing environment
+ Management and leadership experience leading cross-functional teams or manage across multiple related departments.
+ Experience communicating and presenting at the highest levels of the organization
+ Experience using ERP systems (preferred SAP)
Qualifications We Prefer
+ APICS Certification preferred (CPIM, CSCP)
+ Expertise in Industrial Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing Technologies
+ Leadership experience with multi-disciplinary teams across various locations
+ Experience applying logical and scientific thinking principles to solve a wide range of intellectual, organizational, and practical problems
+ Experience and application of Lean manufacturing principles (CORE, ACE, Toyota manufacturing or Six Sigma)
+ Analytical problem-solving capability and organizational skills with attention to detail

**Onsite:** Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
