Onsite are roles that have specific onsite requirements and are typically onsite daily.
Hybrid fixed are roles that are a blend of onsite work/in-person interactions with some ability to work remotely and require employees to live within a commutable distance and be onsite fixed days each week.
Hybrid flexible are roles that can be performed remotely but require some level of onsite work/in-person interactions on a regular basis, require employees to live within a commutable distance and, since business needs vary by position and may change over time, managers will set expectations and flexibility regarding where and when work is performed.
Fully remote are roles that can be performed remotely, require employees to live in approved states and will have purpose-driven in-person interactions on occasion.

Job Summary
The primary purpose for this position is to manage and provide technical support for Operations & Maintenance (“O&M”) activities for over 36 centralized solar facilities and 5 energy storage systems to ensure PSE&G’s solar and storage assets operate per plan, within budgets, and per Solar 4 All program rules. Conduct operational reviews, develop and prepare reports, resolve issues that may arise with equipment, and involve appropriate parties to ensure the solar and energy storage fleet operates at a high level. Manage contracts, and track invoicing and costs related to centralized solar facilities and energy storage work. Ensure compliance with the Board Order governing the program, and all environmental regulations and statutes as they relate to the operation of the solar fleet. Review and approve invoices, work activities, and O&M costs to assure compliance to contracts. Initiate and lead status meetings to manage and track the progress of O&M activities with all parties (internal and external resources) involved with the S4A program. Develop and administer O&M service contracts for the S4A program and fleet. Perform analysis of solar fleet performance and costs implications, develop and present solar fleet performance reports, and develop and implement recommendations to improve performance. Lead inverter and site repowering projects working with internal and external resources. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations as they relate to the operation of the solar facility.
Job Responsibilities
• Lead the effort to replace inverters and repowering solar facilities working with internal and external resources. Evaluate options for the replacement of inverters and energy storage systems, and repowering of solar facilities and make recommendations considering a variety of variables such costs, schedule, safety, and ongoing maintainability.
• Support financial forecasting and tracking of Program investments and expenses.
• Participate in new solar and energy storage program development efforts that may arise.
• Support annual cost recovery activities providing testimony and responses to discovery questions that may arise.
• Manage and oversee service contracts associated with the ongoing operations and maintenance of solar and energy storage systems.
• Provide technical support with the designs and operations of solar and energy storage systems.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the analytics platform, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize their effectiveness.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing comprehensive validation, verification, and quality assurance checks on numerous datasets
• Develop and maintain executive level presentations, reports, and dashboards to effectively communicate complex information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding and approval.
• Work collaboratively with S4A team members, and internal and external resources to accomplish key Company and Program objectives.

• During storm/outage restoration efforts, may be required to perform functions different from normal operations and your regular work schedule, and may also be required to work in an alternate location.
Job Specific Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years professional work experience in solar and energy storage development, design, construction, and operations and maintenance, or related energy or technical field.
• Operational decision-making skills, strong analytical ability, strong problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain high performance during periods of change and drive high standards for individual and organizational performance.
• Excellent teamwork and facilitation skills.
• Experience in data analysis, both spreadsheet-based and with database platform-based.
• Broad general management and technical skills with experience in leadership, process management, contract management, business planning and budgeting, change management, marketing, financial analysis, and work planning competencies.
• Advanced interpersonal skills, communications skills, and presentation skills; Demonstrated ability to present and discuss complex information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding and approval.
• Ability to develop solid working relationships with peers and individuals in other areas by understanding their perspectives and issues.
• Proven strategic planning and leadership skills.
• Systems/applications experience such as Microsoft suite of applications (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, etc.).
• Must have and maintain a valid drivers’ license.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Power BI.
• Demonstrated Data Analytics skills and ability to work with large relational databases.
