    BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an experienced **Licensed Counselor** , to join our outstanding and compassionate team!

    + **Location:** Concourse Ctr

    + **Status:** Full Time, Exempt: Yes

    + **Shift Hours:** 8:00AM - 4:30PM

    + **Weekend Work:** None

    + **On Call:** No

    + How often will this team member be working remotely? Hybrid

    The Licensed Counselor is responsible for:

    + Member of a collaborative practice model that includes patients, nurses, clinical resource coordinators, physicians, and other practitioners, caregivers, and the community.

    + Knowledgeable about disease, treatment, social and economic implications for individuals and families as it pertains to their age, stage of psychosocial development and discharge needs.

    + Pragmatic in approaching End of Life and ethical issues.

    Education:

    + Masters in social work, Mental Health Counseling, or Community Counseling.

    Experience:

    + 6-month Internship in an acute care setting or 1-year social services in an acute health care setting.

    Certifications and Licensures:

    + Required - LCSW (Social Work); Or - LMHC (Mental Health).

    + Select departments may also accept LMFT (Marriage and Family) as equal qualification.
