Job Description

The Fitness Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management of projects The candidate will be an important member of the team to ensure that the goals & deadlines of this area are achieved.

Job Responsibilities

+ Greets and provides customer service to fitness center guests

+ Performs administrative duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments, record maintenance, etc.

+ Ensures the fitness equipment is in accurate working order by cleaning and maintaining equipment, reports maintenance needs to management

+ Ensures staff are adhering to NCED/Aramark policies and procedures

+ Ensures guests are adhering to fitness center safety policies and procedures

+ Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.

+ Upkeep Fitness Center by actively cleaning and maintaining weight room, pool, gymnasium, and hallways

+ Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Qualifications

+ Previous experience in the fitness industry or related role (1-2 years) preferred

+ Degree in field of study (Kinesiology, Health exercise science, etc.) preferred

+ Demonstrates excellent customer service skills

+ CPR/First Aid certification required

+ Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

+ Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs. This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
