Job Description:

You'll be mentored by a Senior Technical Writer and contribute to developer-focused documentation. Your work will involve writing and updating content for both internal and external developers, helping them effectively use Sage Intacct APIs. You'll be at the forefront of developer documentation, with opportunities to innovate—such as supporting the launch of our new developer portal.
Success in this role requires a passion for writing and collaborating with developers. You'll treat developers as valued customers, guiding them through everything from getting started guides to detailed API references. Your content will empower them to extend Sage Intacct and integrate with its financial data by providing clear, useful, and accessible information.
Day-to-Day Snapshot
As a Developer Content Designer, your daily work will be dynamic and impactful. Here’s what you can expect:
• Crafting Clear Documentation
You'll create technical content that simplifies complex concepts, making them accessible to a broad audience. Your writing will be clear, concise, and free of unnecessary jargon.
• Ensuring Accuracy
You'll fact-check and validate technical details to ensure all documentation is accurate, reliable, and up to date.
• Continuous Learning
You'll participate in workshops and training sessions to sharpen your technical writing skills and deepen your understanding of the tools and technologies you support.
• Building API Expertise
You'll develop a strong understanding of APIs—especially Sage Intacct APIs—so you can create content that helps developers integrate and extend our platform effectively.
• Writing for Diverse Audiences
You'll produce documentation for both internal development teams and external partners. Whether it's internal guides or public-facing API references, your work will help developers get the most out of our tools.
This is a hybrid role – three days per week in the Ponce City Market office
Key Responsibilities:
•𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥?
We are open to all backgrounds, however there are a few skills and experiences that will help you thrive. You’ll need to be a Graduate, and whilst we’re open to different degree disciplines, the role is ideal for students from an English, Communications, UX or Technical Writing background.
Alongside this you’ll have,
• Technical writing experience (preferred)
• Ability to convey complex matters in simple terms
• Excellent command of oral and written English
• Experience with the Open API specification and REST APIs is desired
• Experience with GitHub, YAML, JavaScript preferred
• Original writing samples that illustrate an ability to clearly explain complex topics
• Desire to advocate for developer users.
• Ability to work calmly and maintain good judgment in a fast-changing environment
• Ability to think, plan, and execute on multiple projects simultaneously with outstanding attention to detail

4. If your video interview is successful, you’ll be invited to an Assessment Centre at one of our Sage offices.
5. Successful candidates will join our Graduate Programme on 1 October 2025.
