    Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field and three years of related experience; or Associate’s degree and five or more years of coordination experience.

    Job Description:

    To manage programs and projects in the post-clerkship phase for the Office of Clinical Education.

    Job Summary:

    To provide coordination of all phases and activities associated with the post-clerkship phase courses for medical students. Includes coordination of specific courses, support for course specific meetings, and coordination and education of community preceptors.

    Job Duties:

    + Lead and manage the Medical Student Education Program educational courses from 1st yr. to 4th yr. of medical school, and foster collaborative relationships between the Department of Pediatrics, School of Medicine, affiliate hospitals and community preceptors.

    + Create schedules for courses balancing students’ clinical responsibilities with lectures and faculty small group sessions.

    + Manage student evaluations in One45 and post grades in accordance with School of Medicine guidelines.

    + Assist in developing long-term relationships with community preceptors for Pediatric clinical courses.

    + Manage Blackboard sites for specific clinical-year courses offered through the Department of Pediatrics, including posting syllabus, course materials, examinations, and communications.

    + Serve as a liaison between students and the Pediatric Medical Education Program

    + Manage daily activities for courses including room reservations/virtual meeting links, keeping attendance, tracking and/or crediting completed assignments, communicating with course directors, faculty, and students.

    + Organize orientation for students for the Pediatric clinical courses.

    + Proctor quizzes and exams, including NBME shelf exams and OSCE.

    + Keeps track of educational credits for all faculty and submits them in POWER in a timely fashion.

    + Actively participates in any simulation workshops or educational research projects headed by faculty, residents, and students.

    + Communicate with faculty and residents about upcoming student activities, changes to the curriculum, and submission of evaluations.

    + Attending conferences related to Pediatric Medical Education
