Job Summary and Qualifications

Assists the therapist or assistant in the providing quality care to our patients. Helps the department monitor and maintain its supply of assistive devices. Clerical duties as assigned by rehab leadership.

This position is flexible hours (up to Full-time) and will primarily be Monday-Thursday.

What qualifications you will need:

+ High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

+ Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

+ Experience in a healthcare setting preferred. On the job training provided.

At Methodist Hospital Stone Oak, we are a team of over 70 Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists. We are consulted on a variety of patient diagnoses including stroke, craniotomies, trauma, orthopedic, spine, cardiothoracic surgeries, and more! Our Therapists assess and manage the acutely ill patient, develop a plan of care through patient-centered goals, and assist in safe discharge planning. Our Acute Therapy Team participates in hospital wide committees, multidisciplinary rounds, and departmental program development.
