Job Summary:

HCA Healthcare is seeking PRN Emergency Medicine APPs to join our team at HCA Florida Highlands Hospital in Sebring, FL.

Qualified Candidates

+ Must be board-certified by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)

+ Must have at least 12 months of current and consecutive Emergency Medicine experience as an APP

+ Must have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

+ Must be available to work 288 hrs./year.

+ 27,000 annual Emergency Department volume

+ 13-bed Emergency Department with 12 fast-track treatment chairs

+ Single Physician coverage (6a – 6p, 6p – 6a)

+ Average 12-hours/day APP coverage
