    Caring Transitions of West Jacksonville specializes in relocation, downsizing, and estate liquidations, helping seniors and families transition to new living situations with compassion and care. We’re currently seeking enthusiastic, dependable Team Lead to support our services in the West Jacksonville area.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS POSITION:

    As Team Lead, you’ll be part of a team that helps clients:

    + Assist during on-site estate sales or buyer pickups.

    + Maintain safety and cleanliness throughout project sites.

    + Lead and manage work activity at a job site and meet assigned labor hours for the project

    + Ensure equipment and supplies reach each job site, are properly maintained, and returned to secured location

    + Report incidents and/or accidents to management in a timely manner

    + Monitor/reinforce safety procedures

    + Communicate updates to clients, team and management

    + Manage immediate employee concerns or disciplinary needs per Company policy

    + Notify and assist management with ongoing or employee issues or disciplinary action

    + Ensure team member hours are reported to management for payroll in a timely manner

    This role involves hands-on work, including:

    + Standing for long periods, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting items (up to 25 lbs).

    + Carrying supplies and boxes within homes and to/from vehicles.

    + Downsize and relocate, often into senior living communities.

    + Organize, pack, unpack, and resettle clients in new homes.

    + Sort household items for donation, resale, recycling, or disposal.

    + Photograph and catalog items using hand-held devices for estate sales.

     

    Note: We are not movers. Heavy lifting of furniture is performed by professional movers.

    + Thrive in fast-paced, changing conditions and can work independently or on a team.

    + Are detail-oriented, punctual, and take pride in delivering excellent service.

    REQUIREMENTS

    + Age 18+ with a valid driver’s license.

    + Must have reliable transportation and smartphone access for scheduling and timekeeping.

    + Willingness to work in homes that may be cluttered or dusty (gloves, aprons, and PPE provided).

    + Must pass a pre-employment background check.

    + Typical schedule: 10–25+ hours/week depending on project load.

    + Caring Transitions of West Jacksonville is a new and growing company. While we are actively building our client base, there may be periods when work volume fluctuates, and hours may be limited or idle.
