Job Summary:

Chippenham Hospital, a Level l Trauma Center is recruiting a fellowship trained orthopedic trauma surgeon to support our growing program in Richmond, Virginia.

Qualified Candidates:

+ Board certified/Board eligible orthopedic surgeon from an accredited training program

+ Virginia licensure or ability to obtain.

+ Must be energetic, motivated and a team player.

+ Must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with patients, nursing, physicians and administration.

+ Excellent competencies in both acetabulum and heavy pelvic fracture procedures

+ 466-bed Level l Trauma Center and Level l Burn Center

+ 65-bed Emergency Department

+ 12-bed dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department

+ 15 operating rooms

+ Tucker Pavilion – 137 beds dedicated to inpatient acute behavioral health care

+ Levinson Heart Institute

+ 32-bed Medical Surgical ICU, 12-bed Coronary ICU, and 12-bed dedicated CV ICU
