Harmony Gardens, a Cassia community, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team as a Nurse Manager (RN) or Nurse Coordinator (LPN) to join the team in Maplewood, MN.

As a  Nurse Manager (RN) or Nurse Coordinator (LPN) , you will manage the clinical care of residents by assigning different tasks to nurses within the department in a high acuity setting. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, and has excellent customer service skills.

Position Type: Full-Time, working a varied schedule including on-call rotation.

Shifts Available:

Days M-F 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (On-Call Rotation)

Wage Range:

Nurse Coordinator (LPN): $33 - $38 / hour depending on experience

Nurse Manager (RN): $38 - $44 / hour depending on experience

Nurse Manager/Coordinator Responsibilities:

+ Work to coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care.

+ Manage and assign tasks to nursing staff on the assigned unit.

+ Work with the DON to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

+ Notify Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.

+ Monitor in-house transfers, transfers to other facilities, and discharge planning.

+ Document and maintain paperwork, referral records, and reports.

+ Display a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.

+ Step in to support the nursing floor and provide direct patient care when needed.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

Nurse Manager/Coordinator Qualifications:

+ Current MN Registered Nurse (RN) license required (Manager)

+ Current MN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required (Coordinator)

+ 2 + years supervisory experience preferred.

+ TCU, LTC, and MDS experience preferred.

+ Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and MS Outlook.

+ Strong communication and customer service skills.
