• Sales & Use Tax Analyst

    Our client is seeking a Tax Analyst to join their team.

     

    As a Tax Analyst, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Tax Compliance and Reporting team.

     

    The ideal candidate will have **strong analytical skills** , **excellent attention to detail** , and **effective communication abilities** , which will align successfully in the organization.

    Location:

    NY, East Aurora

    Pay Range:

    $31.00 – $35.00 per hour

     

    What’s the Job?

     

    + Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax filings

    + Review and file Real and Personal Property tax returns

    + Manage various non-income tax filings (e.g., business licenses, commercial rent tax, Census surveys)

    + Assist with tax audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies

    + Collaborate with off-site teams to identify and implement process improvements

     

    What’s Needed?

     

    + Associate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience

    + 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field

    + Proficiency in Oracle ERP, Hyperion, and Cognos reporting tools

    + Experience with multi-state sales and use tax and major tax software (e.g., Thomson Reuters, Avalara)

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills
