    Job Description:

    Responsible for pharmacy functions related to the procurement, selection, receiving, and storage of pharmaceuticals and related supplies, in accordance with the hospital standard procedures and regulatory requirements. Responsible for tracking and carefully monitoring the supply of drugs found to be on shortage. Duties also include inventory management within the hospital, periodic analysis of item movement, and preparing invoices and purchasing/financial reports. May perform duties of a hospital pharmacy technician as required.

    Education Qualifications:

    Required Qualifications:

    + Minimum of 4160 hours of pharmacy technician experience.

    Preferred Quaifications:

    Registered as a pharmacy technician with the State Board of Pharmacy in the state in which they will be working (MN or ND) preferred.

    Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

    Certification/Licensure Requirements:

    + Registered as a pharmacy technician in the state in which they will be working, physically practicing in or the state that they will be providing pharmacy services to, on or before their first day

    + Possess current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) from Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)

    + Must maintain registration(s) and certification(s) for the duration of employment

    + Ongoing continuing education and license renewal as required by the state's Board of Pharmacy
