    Job Title: Learning Systems Supervisor

    Summary- This is a contingent opportunity and would begin work upon the contract award

     

    The CNIC Contracts Learning Systems Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the CNIC Learning Management System (LMS), the Adobe Connect training platform, and associated help desk services that support a user base of over 30,000 learners. This role also provides supervision and guidance to the staff managing these systems.

     

    Responsibilities include supervision of a diverse team of learning technology professionals including LMS Administrators and LMS Support Specialists ensuring effective operations and performance. Conducts ongoing quality assurance to evaluate both system functionality and staff effectiveness, with a focus on continuous improvement. Acts as the primary liaison with the Zeiders IT department and manages day-to-day coordination with external learning technology vendors, resolving technical issues and driving process improvements. Directs scheduling of webinars, creation of online training events, strategic communications, help desk operations, and reporting.

     

    This is a telework opportunity. Occasional travel, evening work or meetings outside of normal business hours are expected.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    + The CNIC Contracts Learning Systems Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the timely scheduling of webinars and training events, as well as the accurate posting of materials for all CNIC LMS stakeholders.

    + Maintains high standards of quality control across all services provided under the CNIC learning technologies portfolio.

    + Conducts regular reviews of help desk tickets and responses to identify trends, verify accuracy and appropriateness, and ensure adherence to customer service expectations.

    + Assigns LMS and Help Desk team members to ensure adequate coverage and support at all times.

    + Coordinates with Zeiders IT and/or system vendors for system functionality and improvements. Serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for the full suite of learning technology tools, including the CNIC LMS, Adobe Connect, and the CNIC Help Desk.

    + Maintains a working knowledge of other Zeiders technology tools that connect to the CNIC LMS and applies their capabilities to enhance service delivery when appropriate.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    A key aspect of the CNIC Contracts Learning Systems Supervisor role is demonstrating core competency in effective people management. These responsibilities include inspiring others, fostering trust, effective communication, leading and managing change, performance management, coaching and leadership development. These competencies also include managing with emotional intelligence in all interactions and always conveying the application and demonstration of Zeiders core values.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree

    + Five years’ of directly applicable experience with learning technologies.

    + Five years’ experience in training and development.

    + Three years of demonstrated leadership experience.

    + Demonstrated skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools plus cloud-based project management tools such as Basecamp, Drop Box, Asana, etc.

    + Experience with Learning Management Systems and online classrooms.

    + Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

    + Familiarity with government contracting and experience in budget management and oversight in a contract setting.

    + Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a virtual environment.

    + Balanced use of independent action and collaborative problem solving.

    + Flexible and able to learn and apply new technologies.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience leading virtual teams.

    + Knowledge and working experience with web-based instruction and online learning platforms (Adobe Connect, ZOOM, Go-To Meeting, or other off the shelf products)

    + Understanding of military lifestyle either through prior work or personal experience a plus.

    + Understanding of Instructional systems design and adult learning theory.

    Other Requirements

    + This position requires access to U.S. Government facilities and systems. U.S. Citizenship, a valid driver's license, transportation, and auto insurance are required.

    + You will need to complete and clear the full government background check process based on your role.

    Physical Demands. Works in office areas. Sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during working hours. Uses laptop computer, telephones, copiers, printers and other office equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
