Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Danvers, Massachusetts. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations while gaining long-term career growth. The ideal candidate will excel in managing invoices, accruals, and payment processes with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Process and review invoices to ensure timely and accurate payment.

• Perform check runs and manage payment schedules to meet financial deadlines.

• Handle accruals and reconcile accounts as part of the monthly accounting cycle.

• Assist with month-end close procedures, ensuring all financial data is properly recorded.

• Maintain organized records of transactions and vendor communications.

• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to resolve payment discrepancies.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

• Support the implementation and improvement of accounts payable processes.

• Generate reports and provide analysis as required by management. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.

• Strong understanding of check runs, accruals, and month-end close processes.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Effective communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams.

• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting is a plus.
