Description

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Billing Coordinator to join our client's high-performing legal billing team located in Seattle, WA. In this role, you’ll support a group of approximately 20 attorneys, helping manage the full billing lifecycle from generating pre-bills to delivering finalized invoices to clients. This is a high-volume, fast-paced position, where precision and the ability to learn quickly are key to success. The position begins with one day of onsite training after which it transitions to a fully remote setup for the duration of the contract.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Generate pre-bills for a team of ~20 attorneys on a recurring basis.

+ Collaborate closely with attorneys to incorporate feedback and billing edits.

+ Finalize invoices using billing software and ensure accurate client delivery.

+ Deliver finalized invoices to clients - most often via email in a timely and professional manner.

+ Maintain clear and thorough documentation of billing adjustments, attorney communications and delivery logs.

+ Identify inefficiencies and contribute to process improvements over time.

Requirements

Required Skills & Tools:

+ Experience with legal billing software strongly preferred but not required.

+ Intermediate Excel skills – including comfort with sorting, filtering and using formulas.

+ Prior experience in legal billing or working within a law firm is a strong advantage.

+ Demonstrated ability to manage high volume and deadline-driven tasks with minimal supervision
