Description We are looking for an experienced and visionary Director of Software Engineering to lead cutting-edge initiatives in the insurance technology space. This role requires a strong background in .NET, Java, and Python, along with expertise in Guidewire solutions. Based in Sarasota, Florida, this position offers the opportunity to drive impactful software strategies and lead high-performing teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead diverse engineering teams in delivering robust enterprise software solutions using .NET, Java, and Python.

• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of Guidewire-based systems tailored to the insurance industry.

• Define and execute technical strategies that align with organizational objectives.

• Ensure the successful management and delivery of application lifecycle projects.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

• Monitor and enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of software systems.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

• Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and resources for engineering projects.

• Partner with stakeholders to translate business goals into technical deliverables. Requirements • Proven experience leading engineering teams in enterprise-level software development.

• Strong expertise in .NET, Java, and Python programming languages.

• Deep understanding of Guidewire solutions and their application within the insurance industry.

• Demonstrated ability to manage the application lifecycle from planning to delivery.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills with a focus on team development.

• Ability to align technical initiatives with overall business strategies.

• Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in software engineering.
