Our client is a dynamic and innovative organization looking for a driven Accounting Specialist to join their team. As an Accounting Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in managing client accounts, ensuring accuracy, and facilitating financial transactions.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
+ Maintain and oversee assigned client accounts and ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding billing, payment issues, and account discrepancies.
+ Process customer payments, follow up on outstanding invoices, and prepare aging reports.
+ Handle vendor invoices, payment processing, and ensure accuracy of records.
+ Perform regular reconciliations and cross-check payments with applicable accounts to ensure accuracy.
+ Accurately input financial data and update client account information in the company's ERP or accounting system.
+ Generate and deliver account summary and financial reports to management as required.
+ Ensure all transactions comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
+ Liaise between departments, such as accounting and sales, to ensure consistent client communication and financial operations.
+ Identify opportunities for process optimization to streamline account management workflows.
Requirements
+ 2–3 years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or general account management roles
+ Industry-specific experience (e.g., finance, real estate, retail) preferred but not required.
+ High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
+ Experience with accounting or ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Salesforce, NetSuite).
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (e.g., pivot tables and basic formulas).
+ Understanding of basic accounting principles and familiarity with accounts receivable/accounts payable processes.
+ Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and excellent organizational abilities.
+ Effective communication skills to address client and stakeholder inquiries.
+ Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
