Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Clerk to join our local company in York, PA. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and updating vital company records while contributing to the overall success of our team.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Accurately input, verify, and update data in company databases and systems with a high degree of attention to detail.
+ Perform routine data quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
+ Organize and maintain digital and hard-copy files to ensure easy retrieval.
+ Regularly compare data across multiple sources to ensure consistency.
+ Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and resolve data-related issues promptly.
+ Assist with compiling reports and summaries as needed by management.
+ Follow established data entry procedures and resolve technical issues with minimal supervision.
+ Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company security protocols regarding sensitive data.
Requirements
+ Exceptional attention to detail to ensure data accuracy.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
+ Proficiency in data entry software, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and familiarity with database systems is preferred.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively exchange information with team members and stakeholders.
+ Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with a diverse team.
+ Proactive approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies or errors in data.
Education & Experience:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
+ Previous experience in data entry or administrative roles preferred but not mandatory—we provide training!
