    Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Northridge, California.     Responsibilities:

    • Process invoices, payments, and reimbursements while adhering to established policies and procedures.

    • Utilize accounting software systems like Great Plains, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, and IBM AS/400 to manage financial data.

    • Reconcile discrepancies in accounts payable transactions and resolve issues promptly.

    • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with auditing standards.

    • Manage check processing and ensure timely distribution to vendors.

    • Perform data entry tasks with precision to maintain the integrity of financial records.

    • Collaborate with internal departments to address payment-related inquiries and improve workflows.

    • Assist in month-end and year-end close processes related to accounts payable.

    • Conduct regular reviews of accounts to identify and address errors or inconsistencies.

    • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all financial operations. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related role.

    • Proficiency in accounting software systems, including Great Plains, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, and IBM AS/400.

    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for managing and analyzing financial data.

    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and functions.

    • Experience with check processing and managing vendor payments.

    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.

    • Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial transactions.

    • Familiarity with auditing practices and compliance standards.
