    Robert Half Finance & Accounting (Rochester, NY)


    Description

    We are inviting applications for the role of Payroll Administrator, located in Rochester, New York. In this role, you will be tasked with the administration of complex payroll processes for over 500 employees. The workplace is a dynamic environment where accuracy and attention to detail are paramount.

    Responsibilities:

    • Administer complex payroll operations for a diverse workforce

    • Conduct bi-weekly payroll runs and ensure timely submissions

    • Manage payroll reporting and handle exceptions such as military leave and overtime hours

    • Ensure accurate timekeeping and account for differential pay

    • Utilize Workday for coding and time input corrections

    • Ensure timely approval of time cards and maintain accurate records

    • Conduct system audits in Workday on a regular basis

    • On non-payroll weeks, undertake reporting and additional tasks

    • Liaise with upper management for final approval, ensuring all submissions are correct and ready for approval

    • Utilize Kronos, Workday, and Red Alert systems for various payroll and timekeeping tasks.

     

    Requirements • Proficient in 401k - RRSP Administration.

     

    • Experience in handling Benefit Functions.

    • Ability to manage Full Cycle Payroll.

    • Knowledge of Payroll - Union is necessary.

    • Proficiency in using Workday Payroll.

    • Familiarity with Kronos is required.
