    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Savannah, Georgia. This role involves accurately transferring information from paper files into digital spreadsheets, requiring precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with dual monitors and maintaining consistent office hours.

    Responsibilities:

    • Input missing data from paper files into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets with accuracy.

    • Maintain organized records and update files as necessary.

    • Verify the accuracy of entered data to ensure consistency and completeness.

    • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies in information.

    • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

    • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding progress and issues.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in data entry or related administrative roles.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with spreadsheet functionality.

    • Strong typing skills with a focus on speed and accuracy.

    • Ability to work efficiently with dual monitors.

    • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

    • Capacity to manage sensitive information with discretion.

    • Effective communication skills for team collaboration.
