Description

We are actively seeking a Senior Tax Professional with extensive experience in tax compliance, strategy, and advisory. This role is suited for a seasoned tax expert who can manage complex tax engagements, oversee junior staff, and provide high-level guidance to clients or leadership teams. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation and a proactive approach to minimizing tax exposure and ensuring full compliance.

Responsibilities:

+ Oversee and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts

+ Lead tax planning and consulting projects for high-net-worth individuals and business entities

+ Interpret and apply evolving tax legislation and regulatory developments

+ Manage client or departmental relationships and serve as a key point of contact on tax matters

+ Supervise and mentor junior tax staff and review their work for accuracy and compliance

+ Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies during audits and reviews

+ Identify tax-saving opportunities and risk areas through proactive analysis

Requirements

Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s in Taxation preferred)

+ 8+ years of relevant tax experience (public accounting or corporate)

+ CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) required

+ Deep knowledge of federal, multi-state, and local tax regulations

+ Proven experience managing complex returns and high-level tax strategies

+ Proficient in tax software such as CCH Axcess, Lacerte, GoSystem, or similar

+ Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
