Description

We are looking for an Project Accountant to join our team in Huntersville, North Carolina. This role requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle pressure effectively while maintaining accuracy in financial tasks. If you have experience in construction accounting and strong knowledge of industry-specific software, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision.

• Handle job costing and ensure accurate financial tracking for construction projects.

• Process invoices and verify details to maintain compliance with company standards.

• Utilize Sage 100 Construction and Sage Paperless systems to complete accounting tasks efficiently.

• Execute AIA billing procedures and related documentation for project accounting.

• Collaborate with the accounting team to meet deadlines and maintain workflow.

• Perform data entry tasks with high attention to detail to ensure accuracy.

• Support the preparation of financial reports and documentation as needed.

• Address urgent paperwork and accounting tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction accounting or a related field.

• Proficiency in Sage 100 Construction and Sage Paperless systems.

• Strong skills in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing.

• Familiarity with AIA billing procedures and job costing.

• Ability to handle pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.

• Experience in project accounting within the construction industry.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a small accounting team.
