    Description

    We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious Century City law firm with a strong reputation in complex litigation and real estate matters seeking a dynamic Litigation Paralegal. The firm seeks a Litigation Paralegal with 5+ years of experience handling commercial real estate and landlord/tenant litigation to join their collaborative and high-performing team.

     

    This Litigation Paralegal opportunity offers flexibility in a hybrid remote work environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Support attorneys in all phases of litigation, from inception through trial

    + Draft and manage legal documents including pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence

    + Coordinate and manage document production, e-discovery, and trial preparation

    + Assist with legal research and cite-checking

    + Interface with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel

    + Maintain case files and manage litigation calendars and deadlines

    Ideal Candidate:

    + Minimum 5 years of litigation experience, with a strong focus on commercial real estate and landlord/tenant disputes

    + Solid understanding of California civil procedure, court rules, and filing protocols

    + Trial prep experience preferred (trial binders, exhibits, witness coordination)

    + Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple cases with minimal supervision

    + Proficient with legal software (e.g., Relativity, Trial Director, NetDocs, or equivalent)

    + ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate required

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial litigation or real estate law.

    • Certification as a Paralegal is required.

    • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.

    • Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and document management systems like NetDocuments.

    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.

    • Knowledge of court filing procedures in both state and federal courts.

    • Familiarity with docketing software, such as JuraLaw, is highly desirable.

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with attorneys and clients.
