Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Invoicing Analyst to join our team in Ankeny, Iowa. This role focuses on creating and processing financial documents, such as invoices and credit memos, while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The ideal candidate will excel at maintaining organized records, resolving billing discrepancies, and communicating effectively with both internal teams and external clients.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Invoicing Manager in ensuring timely receipt of necessary paperwork.

• Prepare and process customer invoices and credit memos

• Review invoices to ensure accuracy and resolve any inconsistencies.

• Accurately input financial data into accounting software systems.

• Examine documentation from job sites to identify and address discrepancies.

• Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to address billing concerns and obtain necessary purchase order numbers.

• Update and maintain customer information within the billing system.

• Distribute invoices to customers

• Assist with customer inquiries related to billing and invoicing.

• Manage overdue accounts

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

• Proficiency in billing functions and accounts receivable processes.

• Strong customer service skills with experience in B2B collections.

• Ability to manage invoice discrepancies and resolve issues effectively.

• Familiarity with accounts receivable systems and payment collection processes.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external clients.
