Description

We are looking for a meticulous Retail Banking Clerk to join our client's team on a contract basis in Fresno, California. This position involves providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling banking transactions and operational tasks. Responsibilities:

• Process a variety of banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, with accuracy and efficiency.

• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a thorough manner.

• Handle cash transactions securely and ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of banking products and services to assist customers effectively.

• Perform administrative tasks such as balancing cash drawers and preparing reports.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations within the branch.

• Monitor and report any discrepancies or suspicious activities to maintain security standards.

• Assist with opening and closing accounts while adhering to regulatory requirements.

• Uphold the bank's policies and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.

• Support internal process improvements to enhance operational efficiency

Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail banking or a similar role.

• Proficiency in cash handling and secure transaction processing.

• Familiarity with banking operations and procedures.

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.

• Basic proficiency in computer systems and banking software.

• Knowledge of bank compliance and security protocols.
