Our Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team helps guide clients through their most critical moments and transformational initiatives. From strategy to execution, this team delivers integrated, end-to-end support and advisory services covering valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, government operations modernization, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. Work alongside clients every step of the way, helping them navigate new challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and provide practical solutions at every stage of their journey-before, during, and after any major transformational projects or transactions.
Work you'll do
This is an exciting project opportunity to support the client with project management for a large-scale program to elevate, reconstruct, or retrofit up to 2,500 residential homes. The Work Order Specialist will be responsible for managing work orders, payments, and tracking schedules and risks on residential construction projects. They will be directly interfacing with Construction Contractors elevating residential properties to improve resilience.
• Engage with the Operations team in daily and biweekly calls to streamline Construction Management oversight and engagement across the program
• Manage work orders for construction to elevate, retrofit, or reconstruct homes for approximately 150-300 residential properties
• Escalate risks and schedule delays to appropriate leaders
• Coordinate with Construction Contractors, and direct work at the appropriate Milestones in the program

Qualifications
Required:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
• Ability to travel 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• 2+ years of experience in coordinating with construction contractors, or related experience
Preferred:
• Associate's degree or higher
• Experience with FEMA programs and HMGP
