    Overview

     

    Element has an opportunity for a **Maintenance Mechanic** who will support the Huntington Beach testing facility. The successful candidate will manage all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation to support warehouse operations and customer satisfaction. Operates forklifts for material handling.

     

    Salary: $17- $24/hr DOE

    Responsibilities

    • Receiving:

    o Unload and inspect incoming shipments.

    o Verify deliveries against documentation; report discrepancies/damage.

    o Enter receipt data into system.

    o Stage and assist with put-away.

    • Shipping:

    o Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments.

    o Verify orders; apply labels/documentation.

    o Generate shipping manifests/labels.

    o Load outgoing shipments.

    • Forklift Operation:

    o Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely to move, load, and unload materials.

    • Documentation & Systems:

    o Process all shipping/receiving paperwork (BOLs, packing lists).

    o Maintain accurate records in WMS/ERP.

    • Coordination & Quality:

    o Coordinate with carriers for pickups/deliveries.

    o Perform quality checks on all items.

    o Maintain clean and safe work area.

    Skills / Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • 1-3 years warehouse/shipping/receiving experience.

    • Forklift certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).

    • Proficiency with computers and shipping software.

    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
