Job Summary

We are seeking a **First Impression Officer** to work in a professional downtown building. This full-time position requires someone with strong customer service skills, a polished presence, and at least 2 years of security experience. You’ll serve as the first point of contact, ensuring safety while creating a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

Hourly Rate: $20.50 / HR

Requirements

+ Must be 21 years of age or older

+ 2+ years of security experience required

+ Excellent customer service and communication skills

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Must be able to stand/walk for long periods

+ Must pass a background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

+ Greet all visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and courteous manner

+ Provide directions, answer questions, and assist with building access or appointments

+ Maintain a welcoming and professional demeanor at all times

+ Demonstrate reliability and punctuality

+ Act as a liaison between building tenants and security staff

+ Monitor visitor access and issue visitor badges as needed

+ Report any suspicious activity, safety concerns, or incidents promptly and accurately

+ Maintain a clean and organized front desk or lobby area

+ Operate phones and provide accurate information or route calls appropriately when assisting the supervisor behind the lobby desk

+ Provide customer service by implementing safety/security procedures and site-specific policies

+ Respond calmly and effectively to incidents and emergencies

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building and perimeter

+ Operate access control systems, verify guest credentials, and log visitor details

+ Represent both the client and AUS in a professional and welcoming manner
