Responsibilities:
+ Review stocking levels for specified product lines to maintain appropriate balance between inventory turns and customer fill percentage.
+ Maintain internal records related manufacturer part information and price updates to ensure and maintain records accuracy.
+ Manage purchasing decisions for specified product lines to maximize customer service level with minimal capital investment.
+ Maintain and update Dealer Business Systems records, consolidate customer orders to stock orders, and transfer parts between stores in order to ensure and maintain records accuracy.
+ Review and manage vendor stock backorders and escalate when necessary to minimize disruption to customers’ needs.
+ Coordinates vendor monthly or annual returns – understands the timelines of these programs for each vendor and submits for authorization during proper time periods to minimize obsolete inventory.
+ Works within and promotes vision, mission, and values of BMC.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
+ Must have good working knowledge of computer applications. A good knowledge in Microsoft Office is highly desirable.
+ Must have very strong written and oral communications skills as well as interpersonal skills.
+ Must be energetic, detail orientated and organized
+ Previous knowledge of parts inventory methods
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
+ Must have analytical thinking and decision-making competencies
+ Strong aptitude for accounting is required
