This system serves as the primary accountability tool for monitoring special education and related services provided to over 21,000 students with disabilities across the state. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy and integrity of special education data reporting, enabling the state to meet critical federal accountability requirements and secure funding to support special education programs statewide. *_Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Behaviors):_* · Active listening and effective interpersonal communication. · Analyzing and troubleshooting student data systems and processes. · Provide leadership and technical oversight of the special education module within the SIS. · Manage data collection, validation, and reporting processes for special education services across all districts. · Coordinate with local education agencies (LEAs), internal teams, and federal entities to ensure compliance with IDEA and other federal mandates. · Oral communication and presenting technical concepts clearly to educators, administrators, and the public. · Monitor the integration between SIS and the state data warehouse to ensure consistency and alignment in reporting. · Oral communication and presenting technical concepts clearly to educators, school staff, and administrators. · Creating and maintaining data custom reports using Excel and related software. *_Minimum Qualifications (Education and Experience_*_):_ · A bachelor’s degree in business, technology, systems information, or equivalent experience. · Two years’ experience working in technology services, data information, client services, software development or related fields. · Other combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis. *_Does this sound like you?_* Please tell us how and why by submitting your resume online, including any veterans or disability preference documentation.
