    • Now Hiring: Recreation Counselor (DSP) - Make Fun Your Full-Time Job! 📍 Location: Chili, NY 🕐 Schedule: 12:30 PM - 9:30 PM (Full-Time) 🚗 Must have a valid NYS driver's license, reliable transportation, and at least 2 years of licensed driving experience (proof required)

    As a Recreation Counselor, you'll lead individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in exciting, meaningful community activities-from bowling nights and nature walks to art classes and festivals. You'll be their guide, cheerleader, and supporter as they build confidence and enjoy new experiences.

     

    • What You'll Do:

    + Plan and participate in fun, community-based outings and events

    + Help people build friendships, try new things, and feel great about themselves

    + Keep everyone safe, supported, and smiling

    + Document activities (yes, there's a little paperwork too-but you'll be trained!)

    + Follow personalized plans to help each individual grow

    • What You'll Need:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)

    + Valid NYS Driver's License and reliable transportation

    + Proof of at least 2 years of licensed driving experience

    + Ability to physically support individuals (may include lifting up to 35 lbs)

    + Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

    + Willingness to complete documentation and follow agency procedures

    + A positive attitude and genuine passion for helping others
